Sunset session...
We put some surf time in after working hard during the hot week. I love it when the day ends like this.

It started out as a short bike ride to a car show down the way, but we kept going & it ended up being a 5 mile trip down to the beach. The weather was perfect & it was fun seeing all the summer activities on the sand.
I'm not scared to hold a snake, or even let a spider crawl on me. But if there's ever one thing that gives me the icky feelings, it's gotta be snails. I don't know why, but I hate the feeling of touching their shells for some reason. When that sort of thing does happen, I get all grossed out and resort to getting away from the thing and shaking off my fingers until the yucky feeling goes away. Yes, I'm a wuss...I'm afraid of snails.
The baby stephanotis vine fell in love with the plumeria plant and just couldn't let go.
Santa Barbara has so many talented artists, including a guy that actually makes his own kaleidoscopes. His name is David Sugich, & he's a regular at the Stearns Wharf Craft Fair every Sunday. If you're ever there, go check out his work. You'll be in awe of the colorful creations that his kaleidoscopes make.
Me & Amy finally got our chance to go to Santa Barbara, after months of weather delays. Even though the sky was a bit gloomy, it was perfect for all the walking we did. These are a few of the things that caught my eye while we were there.
I do admit they are talented artists that create amazing pieces of work.
This all happened over 2 days. I can't wait 'til the yellow ones come out!
The last time I was in Vegas, I bought a souvenir from the coolest store invented. I didn't want to spend much, so all I could afford was some clean tighty whities for him so he wouldn't be completely naked. This is Bobby D. Bear...
I love searching thru their garden section, finding all the cute flowers. I would buy them to plant around the house, but my thumb is so far from green that I think it's purple.
It's a NINJA iced tea!
I don't like washing my car too much, but this little find made it all worth while.
Since the weather has been so hot the past few days, the plumerias are slowing starting to peek out. I can't wait! They smell so good when they're fully bloomed & that's why they're my favorite flower. Especially the white/yellow ones.
Here are some other things that I found while rummaging at my mom's house...Micro Machines!!! These also used to be one of my favorites. They were so small & cute, & some even had doors, hoods & trunks that opened! They were the coolest things back then. I have about 25 of them that all fit in a old raquet ball can.
Me, my mom & V went to check out this Japanese restaurant near our house, calle Shin-Sen-Gumi. It was a yakitori type of place. They have all the raw meats already prepared on sticks & they cook it right in front of you when you sit at the bar. We have never been to this type of place & felt so lost, like the new kids in school. There were so many options & special ways to order that it was a bit overwhelming. The waiters were yelling in orders in Japanese & the cooks were yelling something else back that we still couldn't understand. It was all pretty funny being in such a strange place, but so close to home.
Me & V went to our friends' wedding the other week and they rented the same photobooth we did! =) We were so happy that we could finally make up for the all the photobooth pictures we missed out on during our wedding day. These were some of the shots from the 10 photobooth strips. With unlimited photos to take, you end up running out of goofy faces.
